 Now that it is spring, many of us will find ourselves cleaning the house from top to bottom and getting our yards in order. It’s time to get out and exercise!
So you’ve noticed that the sun is lingering in the western sky when you get out of work and you decide that it’s time to dust off those sneakers and head out for some exercise right?
Obviously, regular exercise is an important part of staying healthy. But more Americans are using exercise to shed a few of the winter pounds. But just how much exercise do you need to do to burn those calories?
Make sure you look at your approximate weight category and then just select your preferred method of workout and there you have it! It lists everything from walking to water polo and table tennis to Tai Chi. It also lists some more common activities such as running, swimming and even scrubbing the floors.
So whatever you plan on doing… get outside and have some fun!! |

It's official! Monday, April 6th will be our Spring 2009 Patient Appreciation Day. Just like last time, we are going to do a food drive as well. In November we collected 830 pounds of food for the Crisis Center plus some generous cash donations. This time our goal is 1,000 pounds!
In addition to food and great prizes we will also be examining New Patients in exchange for a generous food donation on that day only. We have limited availability though. So if a friend or loved one is suffering with headaches, low back pain, arm pain, leg pain.............. Now is a great opportunity to get them some help. |
