Ryan Bowman, DC graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1999 following his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas.  Shortly after graduation he married his classmate, business partner, and best friend Christine Bowman, DC.

Ryan resides in Iowa City with his wife and 2 children.

     Christine Bowman, DC graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1999. With her husband and business partner, Ryan Bowman, DC they started practice in Coralville until December 2006 when they moved to their new state of the art facility in Iowa City.  Dr. Christine truly loves developing a friendly, working relationship with her patients while at the same time helping them to reach their health goals.  She has an intense passion for working with infants and children and has completed extensive post-graduate studies in pediatrics.

    Grace Kelly, DC graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2003 following her undergraduate studies at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. Originally from the east coast, Dr. Grace returned to the midwest and joined the team at Bowman Chiropractic in June of 2005. Dr. Grace has completed post-graduate studies in extremity adjusting.

      Doreen McNeal, LMT graduated in 1995 from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Anamosa.  She has studied CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and currently serves as a teaching assistant for them.  Addressing soft tissue problems with CranioSacral therapy, St. John's neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release are her areas of expertise.  Of course Doreen also excels at Swedish massage for those times when you just need to relax and feel pampered!  Doreen is also a graduate of the University of Iowa where she was a dental hygienist at UIHC and the College of Dentistry before discovering the benefits of massage therapy and changing careers. 

Seeing people become pain free and improving function when they thought they were going to have to live with their pain has been immensely rewarding.  Learning about our bodies and how to take care of them is definitely a journey.

Without the dedication and support of our wonderful staff, none of what you experience here would be possible.   Miranda runs the front desk and facilitates a smooth running and efficient clinic environment.  Ashley runs our business office both for self pay patients, and those with insurance policies.

Regardless of their day to day responsibilities, Miranda and Ashley are all dedicated to making your experience with our clinic one that exceeds your expectations.

The most important service we provide is the chiropractic adjustment.  In fact, all of our doctors excel at specific spinal adjustments.  However, we enhance our adjustment with other services as well:
 

• Referrals: If we can help you, we will tell you.  However, if we feel you need to see another healthcare provider, we will let you know that also.  We have healthy referral relationships with a variety of providers in the area.
• Rehabilitation: Often times, the spine needs rehabilitation stretches and/or exercises.  That is why we have an in house department to handle your rehab needs.  And of course, if you need the specialized assistance of a physical therapist, we will refer you to one of the best!
• Orthotics: Spines need support, and that starts at the bottom, your feet!  We utilize the latest in weight bearing analysis for custom made orthotics from industry leading Foot Levelers.
• Nutrition:  All of our doctors have years of experience in dealing with matters of proper nutrition.  Ask us for help!
• Massage Therapy: whether you are looking for a relaxing spa experience or need clinical support, we can help! Our therapist brings with her almost 15 years of experience. 
• Craniosacral Therapy: many patients benefit from this highly skilled healing art.  By integrating craniosacral therapy, we are able to accel at helping even the most difficult cases.
